Bear Hits Court Over Ex-Employees' Client Lists

Law360, New York (March 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Struggling to stay afloat, Bear Stearns Cos. Inc. is reportedly seeking a court order to prevent five former employees from taking their client lists with them as they depart for new jobs.

Bear filed a motion Wednesday for injunctive relief in New York State Supreme Court in an attempt to tighten its grip on the company's current client roster, according to Reuters.
