Atty Wins Stay In BP Suit Amid Probe Into Spill Fund Fraud

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 6:41 PM EST) -- A Louisiana federal judge on Wednesday agreed to delay a lawsuit filed by two BP PLC units accusing a Texas-based lawyer and his firm of vastly inflating the number of claimants for a $2.3 billion seafood compensation program, pending the conclusion of an ongoing criminal investigation against the attorney.
