Cigna Takes ERISA Coverage Row To Pa. Superior Court

Law360, Philadelphia (February 27, 2014, 4:08 PM EST) -- Cigna Corp. urged the Pennsylvania Superior Court on Monday to overturn a decision finding that a fraud exemption excused its excess insurers for liability stemming from a national Employment Retirement Income Security Act class action brought by the company’s employees over benefit plan changes.
