Jersey City Property Owner Gets Records Claims Revived

Law360, New York (February 28, 2014, 8:03 PM EST) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Thursday revived the claims of a Jersey City property owner against a coalition dedicated to preserving a six-block former rail property known as the embankment, saying the coalition should be allowed to amend its complaint.

A three-judge Appellate Division panel said a lower court erred in throwing out 212 Marin Boulevard LLC's against Jersey City and the Pennsylvania Railroad Harsimus Stem Embankment Preservation Coalition over access to certain government records after finding an insufficient relationship between the entities to support...
