Mining Co. Turns To High Court In EEOC Conciliation Case

Law360, New York (February 27, 2014, 8:59 PM EST) -- The Seventh Circuit broke ranks with eight other circuits when it said courts couldn't review the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's statutorily required prelitigation efforts to resolve bias claims, Mach Mining LLC said Tuesday, urging the U.S. Supreme Court to tackle the “intractable” split.  

Mach Mining's petition for high court review said the case presented the high court with a chance to clarify the meaning of a part of Title VII, the nation's most important and most-often-litigated workplace bias law.
