Insurer Can't Cap Defense Costs In Crane Collapse Suits

Law360, New York (February 27, 2014, 7:01 PM EST) -- A New York appeals court on Thursday upheld a ruling that Axis Surplus Insurance Co. cannot set a limit on the amount it owes for coverage of East 51st Street Development Co. LLC’s defense costs in underlying suits over a fatal crane collapse at the developer’s site in 2008.
