Spotify, UK Music Co. Settle Playlist Infrigement Suit

Law360, New York (February 27, 2014, 9:06 PM EST) -- Music streaming service Spotify has settled with undisclosed terms a suit over its alleged refusal to take down user-generated playlists that purpotedly ripped off the proprietary ordering of tracks on a U.K. nightclub and entertainment company's compilation albums, according to an announcement Thursday.
