Republican Bill To Change ACA Would Cost $74B, CBO Says

Law360, Los Angeles (February 28, 2014, 6:18 PM EST) -- The Congressional Budget Office this week slammed a Republican proposal to overhaul the Affordable Care Act so that workers must clock 40 hours a week instead of 30 to be guaranteed coverage, finding it would increase the deficit by $74 billion over the next decade and result in 1 million people losing work-based insurance.
