Raytheon Wins $655M Missile System Contract With Kuwait

Law360, Los Angeles (March 3, 2014, 3:14 PM EST) -- Raytheon Co. announced Monday that it has been awarded a $655 million contract to provide Kuwait with new units for its air and missile defense system.

Under the contract, which was awarded to Raytheon by the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command as a foreign military sales agreement, Raytheon will construct two new Patriot Air and Missile Defense System fire units for Kuwait. The new units will add to the Middle Eastern nation's existing Patriot capabilities, the company said.
