HP Loses $103M Homeland Security ID Contract To Rival XTec

Law360, Washington (March 3, 2014, 5:37 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Friday announced it would strip an up to $102.8 million contract for a biometrics-capable employee and contractor identification system from a unit of Hewlett-Packard Co. and award the contract to rival XTec Inc., following a re-evaluation.
