RE Rumor Mill: Skadden, LinkedIn, 5Pointz

By Kaitlin Ugolik (March 4, 2014, 4:56 PM EST) -- Law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP is looking for a new place to land when its current lease at 4 Times Square is up in 2020, and has reportedly reached out to Silverstein Properties Inc. and Brookfield Office Properties Inc. for potential new digs. The firm sent out a request for proposals for about 450,000 square feet to Silverstein, Brookfield and several other major landlords, the New York Post reported Tuesday. Silverstein is currently developing the World Trade Center and needs a tenant at 4 WTC, while Brookfield plans to start developing its 5-acre site nearby.
