Apple Can't Mention Quinn Emanuel Doc Leak In Samsung Trial

Law360, San Jose (March 5, 2014, 10:56 PM EST) -- The California federal judge overseeing Apple Inc.'s upcoming smartphone patent trial with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. on Wednesday barred Apple from presenting evidence that Samsung's attorneys at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP leaked confidential information regarding an Apple license agreement, saying that such testimony could prejudice jurors.

U.S. District Court Judge Lucy Koh granted Samsung's motion regarding the controversial leak and weighed in on more than a dozen others brought by the tech rivals in their final pretrial conference before jury selection begins March 31....
