Christie's Is Auctioning Dubious Basquiat Art, $1M Suit Says

Law360, New York (March 4, 2014, 7:18 PM EST) -- Christie's Inc. was hit Tuesday with a $1 million false advertising suit in New York federal court alleging the auction house is passing off a series of unauthenticated and possibly fraudulent pieces of art as genuine works by the late neo-expressionist Jean-Michel Basquiat.
