NYC Planning Commission OKs Domino Sugar Redevelopment

Law360, New York (March 5, 2014, 5:39 PM EST) -- The New York City Planning Commission on Wednesday unanimously approved Two Trees Management Co.'s 2.9 million-square-foot redevelopment plan for the former Domino Sugar Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The approval is the first of two major regulatory hurdles the project will face this year after reaching an agreement with Mayor Bill de Blasio late Monday to add more affordable housing.
