Forest Escapes Lexapro Marketing Class Action

Law360, Los Angeles (March 5, 2014, 6:08 PM EST) -- A Massachusetts federal judge on Wednesday tossed a putative class action brought against Forest Laboratories Inc. by California purchasers of the antidepressant Lexapro who said Forest misrepresented information on the drug’s efficacy for adolescents, holding that the claims are barred by California’s safe harbor provision.
