'American Idol' Runner-Up Sued For 'Book Of Mormon' Profits

Law360, Los Angeles (March 6, 2014, 6:09 PM EST) -- "American Idol" second runner-up Syesha Mercado was hit with a breach of contract suit in California court on Wednesday by Industry Entertainment Partners LLC, which represented Mercado as her manager and alleges she refused to pay due commissions related to the broadway musical "The Book of Mormon."
