Security Co. ADT Settles With FTC Over Paid Endorsements

Law360, New York (March 6, 2014, 6:33 PM EST) -- Residential security provider ADT LLC hid from consumers that reviewers who touted the ADT Pulse home monitoring system on television, radio and the Web were bought and paid for by the company, according to a Federal Trade Commission case and settlement filed Thursday.
