RE Rumor Mill: L&L Holding, Willets Point, Washington St.

David Levinson of L&L Holding told The Wall Street Journal that he plans to begin tearing down the existing building at the site by year's end, and hopes to complete construction of the new tower by late 2017. The project would have been covered by the Bloomberg administration's rezoning plan for Midtown East, allowing it to be built about 15 percent larger, but the rezoning was tabled in November. ...
