Springleaf Sells Part Of $1B Real Estate Mortgage Cache

Law360, New York (March 11, 2014, 1:10 PM EDT) -- Springleaf Financial Corp. is selling portions of a nearly $1 billion real estate mortgage portfolio to three separate buyers, the company said Tuesday, as part of the private equity-backed lender's continued plan to liquidate its legacy mortgage portfolio.
