NJ Supreme Court Won't Revive Nursing Home Class Action

Law360, New York (March 11, 2014, 4:37 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey nursing home contract and collection efforts targeting a resident's daughter didn't breach state nursing home or consumer fraud laws because they didn't assert that she had to pay her mother's bills with her own money, the state Supreme Court ruled Tuesday.
