Apple To Seek $40 Per Phone, Tablet In Samsung Patent Trial

Law360, Los Angeles (March 11, 2014, 5:19 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. will ask a jury to compel Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. to pay $40 per phone or tablet sold, for damages in connection with alleged infringement of five patents, in the upcoming smartphone IP trial slated for March 31, according to court documents.
