Sbarro Eyes April Exit Out Of Bankruptcy

Law360, New York (March 12, 2014, 2:00 PM EDT) -- Sbarro LLC on Wednesday received court approval for a $10 million loan to get it through its recently announced bankruptcy and scheduled a hearing to confirm the pizza chain’s prepackaged Chapter 11 plan for late April.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn signed off on the interim $10 million debtor-in-possession loan during Sbarro’s first-day hearing following Monday’s filing of its second bankruptcy in three years. The judge will consider a final approval of the loan, which will come with an additional $10 million, at a later time....
