NYCHA Residents Withdraw Suit Over Private Leasing Plan

Law360, New York (March 13, 2014, 2:59 PM EDT) -- Advocacy groups and tenants who sued the New York City Housing Authority last fall over the agency's plan to lease some of its property to private developers withdrew their action Thursday, citing assurances from Mayor Bill de Blasio that his predecessor's plan has been scrapped.
