NJ Court Says Arbitrator Can't Up Remediation Firm's Award

Law360, New York (March 13, 2014, 4:26 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey construction company on Thursday shaved roughly $246,000 from an arbitration award granted to an environmental remediation firm in a contract dispute, after an appellate panel ruled the arbitrator overstepped his bounds by improperly modifying the award.
