DOJ Overstated Mortgage Fraud Crackdown, Watchdog Says

Law360, New York (March 13, 2014, 2:23 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has failed to back up its pledge to make prosecuting mortgage fraud a priority, despite having been given additional funds and legal resources to do so, according to a report released Thursday by the department's Office of the Inspector General.
