Lockheed Wins $9M Contract To Support S. Korea System

Law360, New York (March 17, 2014, 2:13 PM EDT) -- Lockheed Martin Corp. has picked up a $9 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide engineering and logistics support to South Korea’s Peace Krypton reconnaissance aircraft system, the company said Monday.

The contract was awarded to Lockheed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, based in Wright-Patterson Air Force base in Ohio, to maintain the Peace Krypton system, the company said. The aerospace and security behemoth has been providing engineering and logistics support to South Korea since 1996, it said.
