Caesars JV Gets Nod For $80M S. Korean Casino

Law360, New York (March 18, 2014, 1:20 PM EDT) -- A development consortium led by Caesars Entertainment Corp. has received preliminary approval from South Korean officials to proceed with plans to develop an 855 billion South Korean won ($80 million) casino and hotel complex in the country, according to a Tuesday regulatory filing.

The South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has given a first nod to LOCZ Korea Corp., which is a joint venture made up of Caesars, Singaporean real estate developer OUE Ltd. and Hong Kong-based Lippo Ltd., according to a U.S. Securities...
