LA Fire Dept. Staffers Owed Standard OT, 9th Circ. Says

Law360, New York (March 18, 2014, 7:10 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit ruled on Tuesday that the Los Angeles Fire Department's dispatchers and aeromedical technicians were entitled to standard overtime pay because they did not fall within an exemption to the Fair Labor Standards Act for employees “engaged in fire protection.”
