Chase Freed From Overpayment Deletion Class Action

Law360, Los Angeles (March 21, 2014, 6:26 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Friday quashed a proposed class action accusing a JPMorgan Chase & Co. unit of violating cardmember agreements by eliminating balances of customers who overpaid, ruling that the plaintiff lacked standing because he had been issued a refund.
