High Court Won't Hear Calif. Water Rights Dispute

Law360, New York (March 24, 2014, 3:51 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear a central California canal authority's appeal claiming the state water code requires that its contractors be awarded priority rights to local water supplies, leaving intact a Ninth Circuit ruling that nixed its suit against several agencies.
