Starwood Pushing Forward On Sales As Buyer Pool Deepens

Law360, New York (April 24, 2014, 3:50 PM EDT) -- With the hotel market buyer pool deepening, Starwood Hotel & Resorts Worldwide Inc. executives on Thursday said the company is trying to move forward on hotel sales in the U.S., Europe and Asia as quickly as possible.

Pushing forward on its plan to shed $3 billion of hotel properties by the end of 2016, Starwood hopes to take advantage of new interest in the sector and is heavily shopping around multiple hotels, executives said during an earnings call.
