Intel Faces Patent Suit Over Phone Control Device

Law360 (April 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Intel Corp.’s call processing technology has become a target in a patent infringement suit brought by an individual patent holder.

Philip Jackson filed his suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Wednesday, alleging that the Santa Clara, Calif.-based microprocessor firm infringed his patent covering a phone-line-linked and tone-operated control device.
