MDL Panel Opts To Centralize Vytorin Litigation

Law360, New York (April 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has moved to consolidate nearly three dozen suits over Vytorin and Zetia, designating New Jersey as the proper venue for the controversy over the marketing and sales of the popular cholesterol drugs.

On Tuesday, the panel centralized 33 actions that have been filed in 17 different districts nationwide, transferring all cases to the U.S. District of New Jersey.
