Xerox Buries Hatchet With Sales Reps For $12M

Law360, New York (April 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Xerox Corp. said Thursday it had reached a $12 million settlement with a group of black sales representatives who alleged the company discriminated against them on the basis of their race.

Judge John Gleeson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York gave preliminary approval to the proposed settlement on April 3, Xerox said Thursday. The company said it had agreed to the settlement in the class action, which began in May 2001, without admitting any wrongdoing.
