Law360, New York (April 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy court has given final approval to a settlement reached between Hancock Fabrics Inc. and its customers, bringing an end to a suit alleging that the company violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act by printing credit card expiration dates on its receipts.
Judge Brendan L. Shannon of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware approved the settlement on Thursday, affirming the initial settlement approval handed down at the end of January.
