NYRA Seeks Sixth Exclusivity Extension

Law360, New York (April 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The New York Racing Association Inc. is seeking yet another extension of its exclusivity period, saying it requires additional time to work out the final details of its franchising agreement with the state of New York.

In court documents filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, NYRA said it needs the sixth extension despite the fact that its Chapter 11 plan has already been voted on and accepted by all classes of creditors.
