Twinings False Ad Class Wins Cert. Over Tea Claims

Law360, Los Angeles (April 24, 2014, 10:18 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Thursday certified a class of consumers suing Twinings North America Inc. over allegations the tea company falsely advertised the health benefits of antioxidants in many of its tea blends, yet the judge ruled the class cannot seek monetary damages.
