Sanofi-Aventis Fails To Kill FCA Suit Over Lovenox

Law360, Los Angeles (May 13, 2014, 5:48 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday declined to give Sanofi-Aventis SA an early escape from rival Amphastar Pharmaceutical Inc.’s False Claims Act suit alleging the company fraudulently inflated the price of its anticoagulant drug Lovenox, ruling Amphastar had properly disclosed information to the government before filing.
