Jury Awards $10.5M To Former IDT Employee

Law360, New York (April 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal jury has awarded telecommunications entrepreneur and former IDT Corp. employee Alfred West $10.5 million in damages after finding that the telecom company breached its two-page, handwritten contract with West.

The jury in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey issued its verdict on Friday, following a three-week trial, the second in the long-standing case first filed by West in 2001.
