Marathon Oil Faces FLSA Suit From Store Workers

Law360, New York (April 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former workers at two Speedway SuperAmerica LLC convenience stores have brought a putative collective and class action against parent company Marathon Oil Corp., claiming they weren't paid for all the time they spent working.

The complaint was filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota against Marathon Oil, Marathon Petroleum LLC and Speedway SuperAmerica. Named plaintiffs Constantine Thompson and Tina Dado worked at stores in Minnesota and Illinois, respectively.
