Yahoo Wins Bids To Move Shareholder Class Action

Law360, New York (April 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge in Los Angeles has granted a request by Yahoo Inc. to move a securities fraud case closer to the Internet giant's headquarters, ruling the move to be in the interests of justice.

U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder of the Central District of California on Wednesday ordered the transfer of the consolidated class actions to the Northern District of California, saying the case should be heard where the alleged misconduct took place — in Silicon Valley.
