SEC Targets Ex-Pixar CFO For Alleged Backdating

Law360, New York (April 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The former chief financial officer of Pixar Animation Studios has come under fire from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for possible backdating of stock option grants.

Google Inc. revealed in a regulatory filing Monday that one of its directors, Ann Mather, had been informed last week by the SEC’s Los Angeles bureau that the office was recommending the regulator launch a civil proceeding against Mather for alleged backdating during her tenure at Pixar.
