Lockheed Nabs $452M Air Force Missile Support Contract
Law360, New York (June 6, 2014, 1:30 PM EDT) -- A Lockheed Martin Corp. unit was awarded a $452 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide support for the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile reentry system and reentry vehicles subsystems, the U.S. Department of Defense said Thursday.
Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, will provide sustaining engineering, maintenance engineering and aging surveillance support, as well as modify systems and equipment related to the Air Force’s Minuteman III ICBMs, according to the DOD contract award notice.
Lockheed will also provide software maintenance, development engineering, production engineering, and procurement of the MMIII reentry system/reentry vehicles...
