Fox, MGM Combat Nissim Royalty Claims Over DVD Patents

Law360, Los Angeles (June 17, 2014, 4:21 PM EDT) -- Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment LLC and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Home Entertainment LLC on Monday asked a California federal judge to block Nissim Corp. from suing them for royalties for alleged infringement of 11 patents pertaining to DVDs and Blu-ray discs, arguing the allegations have no merit.
