Two Cos. Move To Dismiss In Insurance Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (May 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two plaintiffs in a sprawling antitrust class action against several major insurance companies, including Aetna Inc. and Marsh & McLennan Cos., have moved to have their claims dismissed with prejudice.

Judge Garrett E. Brown Jr. on Wednesday granted a motion by plaintiff Delta Pride Catfish Inc. to dismiss all of its claims against the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company and National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa.
