Raytheon Wins $223M Missile Contract For Navy, USAF, Others

Law360, New York (June 26, 2014, 1:34 PM EDT) -- Raytheon Co.'s missile unit on Wednesday received a $223 million contract for the procurement of missiles and other products for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and several foreign governments, according to a U.S. Department of Defense notice.

The low-rate initial production contract calls for Raytheon Co. Missile Systems to provide 485 of its infrared-tracking, short-range, air-to-air AIM-9X Block II missiles for the Navy and Air Force, as well as the governments of Turkey, the Netherlands, Singapore and Kuwait.
