Ex-Rogers & Wells Attorney Settles With SEC For $50K

Law360, New York (March 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former Rogers & Wells attorney has settled with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission for $50,000 after being accused of taking part in an insidious 1998 kickback scheme involving Connecticut state pension fund investments.

Last week, the Connecticut federal district court entered a final judgment against Jerome L. Wilson related to his alleged participation in the investment plot, the SEC revealed on Wednesday.
