Appoint Trustee For Tropicana, Noteholders Plead

Law360, New York (May 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of noteholders of bankrupt Tropicana Entertainment LLC are asking for a trustee to be appointed to the case, saying that the owner of the casino operator has come close to destroying its prospects for continuing.

In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the ad hoc consortium of 9-5/8 senior subordinated notes due in 2014 contended that William J. Yung III led the company to disaster after disaster.
