Fred Leighton Tries To Wrest Jewels From Merrill

Law360 (May 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt Fred Leighton Holding Inc. has requested that Merrill Lynch Mortgage Capital give back over $77 million worth of jewelry, accusing the financial giant of plotting with famed auction house Christie's Inc. to hold the special collection ransom.
