RE Rumor Mill: West 79th St., Top Spring, Est4te Four

By Kaitlin Ugolik ( July 3, 2014, 4:28 PM EDT) -- A building on West 79th Street in Manhattan is poised to be torn down and replaced with an apartment building, according to neighborhood paper the West Side Rag. Tenants in the building have reportedly been told to find a new place to live within 90 days to make way for the new 16-story building, though the paper reported that the project is still waiting for an approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission. The building is located between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway and was sold earlier this year to Anbau Enterprises....
